Scott Hall Biography


Scott Hall attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. In 1994, he graduated with a BBA in Finance and English Literature. During this time, Scott was a member of the Student Government Association, and a founding brother of Kappa Delta Rho Fraternity.




Scott began working with CompUSA in 1990 as a Division Director. In this role, he managed all technology and training services operations encompassing as many as 33 locations for this $4 billion technology retailer. He was responsible for sales, P&L and operations for on-site and depot service technical work, technology training course delivery and training of staff. In 2001, Scott took on the role of Director of Operations in a 14 store region with over 700 employees across the Mid-Atlantic United States, generating $240 million in sales annually. In this role, Scott was responsible for total profit and loss management, staffing, payroll, human resources and technology services and training delivery. He also developed sales and marketing programs to enhance customer awareness and influence purchasing decisions.

T-Mobile and Target

From 2006-2008, Scott worked with T-Mobile as a Market Manager. Here he managed all day-to-day sales and operations for the greater Washington, DC area for this wireless communication provider encompassing 9 stores.
From 2008-2014, Scott was a General Manager at Target. He supervised all day-to-day sales, operations, staffing and budgeting for a $40 million dollar, 125,000 square foot merchandise and grocery superstore.

Recent Career

From 2012-2019, Scott worked with Zip Car as a General Manager (Director), and Maven/ General Motors as a Region Director of Eastern US/ Canada.

Currently, Scott is working with Nine Tiers Consulting as an Independent Consultant. He consults with various firms to provide specialized operations, supply chain, merchandising and retail programs for startups and mid-tier companies.
